(unless they've "hidden" all of them) from an account called "ezseek".)Our conversation started when they said I didn't need to "stamp" (watermark) my canvas image, and that I need to get my name out there first, that comment as since been hidden. You can see my reply in the comments of that piece.
Their next hidden reply went on about how my work was not that good (not worth watermarking); stating that they could do better if they wanted to: how they are actually an art critic and that many of the young folks here value that since they're constantly asking for comments on their work; informing me that their daughter is the artist in the family and that she is very successful; and the kicker, advised me to follow their Pinterest board "Hero World" as they had the largest collection of Hulk art and that I might learn what the Hulk actually looks like; and ended with an empty statement of faith. My reply again is not hidden.
If their final two comments get hidden; one is an allusion that "god said it's not worth it" and that "I'm the one that came with an attitude"; and then an oh so considerate P.S. "warning me" that people here are "talking about taking over my Hulk pic" and that I should "put it away" because "haters will pay." On the bright side that one also states "you stopped me from ever coming bacK." As if that will be a great loss.
That account, btw is empty. I stand by my thought that it exists merely to grant them access to the art on this site, so that they can populate their Pinterest boards.
Folks, whether your art is any good or not, don't let anonymous clowns bring you down. Enjoy the process of making it. Don't worry about how successful others are with their art; your benchmark will always be yourself. Are you better then you were, have you picked up new skills, do you continue to push yourself, and are you still having fun doing it?
